Dissertation was finally complete and handed in last Thursday. Phew! I can not not begin to express the weight that has been lifted from my mind, buuuuut its not over yet, I still have 6000 words to write between four modules, two portfolios and a presentation to prepare. FUN! Most people who have been lucky enough (or unfortunate) to know me for the last three years will know my life is consumed by work and uni and the added little adventure or trip to the local for a bottle of wine or two.
Instead of boring you with that I am really excited to be telling you all about an adventure I have planned for when all my University is handed in! Its called wait for it... Dun Dun Dun, The Whole Hog. I was asked to take part in this by Two of the managers at my work, Adam and Sam (my sister/twinny). It is a 7.5 walk in which we will have to wade through water and climb up banks and crawl through tunnels and mud to raise money for charity. Have a look on the link to see what I mean!

I love raising money for charity, it not only gives you something fun to do but it also provides money for many people who are in need of it, in this case money will be going to The Ronald McDonald House Charity. It is a fantastic cause which they aim to provide a ‘home away from home’ for families with
children in hospital, somewhere free to stay for as long as they need
to. There are currently 14 Ronald McDonald Houses and over 25 sets of
Family Rooms across the UK, all just a stone’s throw from the children’s
ward. Together, they provide more than 400 rooms for families each
night of the year! I spent a week in hospital when I was 15 and I remember my mum and sister staying in the tea room because they didn't want to leave me. I can not begin to imagine what it must be like for parents of small children who may travel miles to give their children the best medical treatment possible, therefore I think this is an amazing charity! This is something I am really looking forward to and I hope that I can make loads of great memories from it as well as help a charity raise much needed money! I will post a link on my facebook as soon as a donation page has been created (cough Adam) and I hope you will all support us in this mission.
