We went the Whole Hog!

So I thought I should up date you all on the Whole Hog, You remember that charity event I was telling you about?! This is me Just as I finished! It was a fantastic day and I am happy to say I have now fully recovered and have somehow managed to get the mud out from toes nails! Yes it took a whole week of scrubbing in the bath!!! Oh and it turns out it was 10k, not 7.5k lol!
This is the first lot of water we all had to get into! It was Freeeeeeeeeeezing! I love the so this and the next four lots was not to much of an issue for me, but as you can tell from Daniel's face, it really was cold :)
This is the two managers who came with us. Sam my twin sister and Adam. They were fantastic and lead the team fantastically! As you can see they are embarking one of many steep hills! These were a nightmare for me! I hate hills...especially ones that require a rope to get you up them!!
This is pure mud! Although it doesn't look thick it was thicker than custard and almost impossible to get through and even harder to keep your shoes on your feet! This got deeper as we went through, we then had to climb up a slippery wet steep bank. I could not get out of this without everyones help! I had Sam and Adam pulling me (All hands wet and slippery from the mud) then Daniel, Mandy and Maria pushing my legs and bum out haha. I would still be there now if it wasn't for those guys! Thank you all!

This is all of us soaking wet, cold, tired and covered in mud just as we crossed the finished line. We are amazing proud of ourselves and would all do it again. Was the most fun I've had in such a long time with an amazing bunch of friends.
This us all kind of cleaned up back at work after a 13 hour day. Little did we know that it would take so long to get rid of all the mud! Although this was loads of fun it was ruddy hard work so if you haven't sponsored us, please do because it it raising money towards a fantastic cause. We have £160 worth of online donations and around £350 offline donations, so we are still short of our £600 target! If you have sponsored us on paper please give your money to any of us when you see us next and a massive thank you for your sponsorship!
