So its been almost 5 months since I graduated from University and not a lot has changed...Moving on is a lot harder than you can anticipate. I have had a total of 3 interviews for a job that only requires a NVQ and each time received amazing feedback, however was told I did not have enough experience, so my first tip is to try and volunteer as much as you can during your degree if possible! On the positive side though getting the knock backs does make you a lot more strong and resilient. I am a very resilient person but there's no denying the hurt it does make you feel. Moving on and being left in limbo does also create a big emptiness. I moved away from my home town for University, although not to the place of my studies. Although you make new friends and networks I am now finding a huge emptiness where all my best friends use to be. I miss being able to just watch a film with someone or play on the Xbox (PS2 aha) or even go to spoons for a coffee and a chat or a drive. They say you can always pick up the phone to a best friend and talk like you haven't stopped talking and I know with many of my friends I could, but it's not the same as being round the corner from them or the other side of town. I think throughout the degree and moving on this has been the hardest thing and there is nothing I can think of that prepares you for it. So if any of you guys (you know who you are) read this, know that I miss you, mainly the small things I would take for granted.
Anyway the job search continues and I'm off to post some more applications. Wish me luck!
Your website is your advertisement, and at the moment it doesn't advertise you well. Your personality is spot on, you as a person are very employable - however this website lets you down a lot. None of the examples are real life examples of the type of work you'd be producing for your employer. Look at the goat, the "after photoshop" is awful and not what anyone would use on a completed professional website. It's great that you're showing you have the skills - but you need to refine these skills and give employers of examples of what theyre employing you for! Get a really nice photo with something that spoils it like some litter on the floor, then photoshop the litter, perhaps remove a tree? Just think about the type of things you'd be doing for your employer, take this site down and come up with something that really shows you off.

Heyy, thanks for your kind words and advice. I'm not trying to get into a job related to computers or software at all. That was just a bit of fun for a university project :) I'm trying to become a Teachers Assistant so we were just asked to have a play around with technology as if we were kids and experiment. I could produce higher quality photoshoped images but it wasn't required (thank goodness, had alot of work on heh).
